Dr Brian English
Dr Brian English is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). He has many years experience working with adults of all ages experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship issues and life transitions.
Brian has the following qualifications:
BA (Hons, Psychology) – Macquarie University
Post Graduate Certificate (Pain Management) – College of Medicine, The University of Edinburgh
MSc (Applied Psychology) – The University of Western Australia
MBA (Management of Organisational Change) – Charles Sturt University
PhD (Developmental Psychology) – The University of Western Australia
He is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS), and is an Endorsed Community Psychologist (AHPRA).

He has a special interest, and expertise in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Rational Emotive Therapy (RET), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Re-processing (EMDR), Client-Centred Therapy, and Gottman Couples Therapy.
You may be eligible for a Medicare Rebate on the cost of a consultation. Medicare Rebates are available for up to 10 sessions in a calendar year.
Please contact your GP and request a longer consultation for a Mental Health Care Plan assessment.
If you are eligible for a Medicare Rebate, you will be given a referral to Dr English (Provider Number 2925718H, at Suite 69, First Floor, 10 Lonsdale Street Braddon ACT 2612).
Please bring your referral and Mental Health Care Plan to your first appointment. You will be required to pay $150 on the day. The Medicare Rebate will be $84.40.
Unfortunately, Medicare Rebates are not provided for couples counselling.
